Congratulations! I got my butt kicked there: 2 fish at 4#. We had them early, and we continued to catch shorts so we thought that was the way to go, but, obviously, not.

Fishing must have been outstanding this weekend. Rufus called me a little bit ago, and said he had his best day ever on Erie today. They won!

Rick, the Mangus won the Cancer Tournament on Randall with 19 pounds and change. I think 15 took second and then it dropped way off. Greg said they only had 10 boats.

We ended up taking 3rd on St Clair in Saturday's NBAA with 20.90 pounds. It only took 21.46 to win (I think?) but there were at least 2 fish well over 6 pounds weighed in. Overall, I think the bite was tough up there.

Thanks to all for the congratulations. Taz and myself had a day like no other. Taz said he had a spot that would have a few keepers, boy he wasn't kidding! I have never experienced anything like it. Don't know why those fish were bunched up on that flat, but they were. It was about a hundred or more yard area. Taz remembered the pointers I gave him from the Gun lake tourney, and he executed to...

Great job guys! Sometimes the worse the weather conditions, the better the fishing.

There was a cancer benefit tournament on Randall Chain today also. I wonder if those weights were up too.

Wow what a morning in the rain Joebass and I caught 18.4 lbs to win the tourney and Joe got big bas with a 5 1/2 pounder and I had one just under that at 5.2 caught about 20 legal fish lots of 14 to 15 inchers and probably 60 bass didn;t even feel the rain.Joe has taught me lots and I;ll keep learning from a good experienced fisherman like he is.Thanks again for the great day Joe and look forward to the next time.I;ll let you post all the details when you get time and I;ll get a picture on...
