        <![CDATA[ Jim and I ventured down the south shore of Lake Erie this morning. We arrived in a marina, and prepared to launch the boat in the dark. With the big lake out
of sight, we could hear the distinct wave crashing against the shore. Jim and I decided it would be best to take a look at the lake before launching the boat.
Winds were expected out of the north today, and waves weren&#39;t expected to be more than 1 to 3 feet. We drove the truck with boat still hooked up down a

</blockquote>Not a whole lot.  It&#39;s still filthy, but probably has less chemicals in it.  There were lots of guys perch fishing out on the flats around the
mouth of the river.  I believe the perch come in shallow this time of year.  I&#39;ve never went perch fishing here, but have to try it someday.  The rod I
caught with the bass attached to it was a perching rod.  It had a spreader with yellow blades attached.  I&#39;m... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Wow, that is amazing. I grew up about five blocks from cullen park in the 60&#39;s and early 70&#39;s. I used to bank fish with crawlers for carp and bullhead.
A friend and I set out a trot line across the bay to the south of the park near the old armory. We caught a few bullhead but not much else. In the winter we
played hockey there after school. In the fall we would walk out the breakwater toward the island and cast minnows for perch.
