I like football, but not football season. It means the end of fishing and the interminable winter just ahead.

Just a wide spot in a creek, Jack. Around 150-175 acres at normal pool. I love fishing and learning a little about, these kinds of flood control lakes. By sunset I've hopefully narrowed them down even further to maybe the size of a 1 or 2 acre pond. It's a game...

35 mile an hour wind, 74 degree water temps, 85 degree air temps = healthy, healthy Largemouth Bass in the front end of creek channels off the main lake.
