        <![CDATA[ Has anyone been out there fishing the lake this year yet? any luck? i went out last weekend  11-1-08 I came home with 6 saugeyes 2 that weighed about 3 pds.
caught those on susspending jerk baits the rest on live bait. ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Bill, I believe the amusement park at Buckeye shut down in the late 60&#39; or early 70&#39;s.  People from all over the country came there in the 20&#39;s
and 30&#39;s even some people from Chicago who you might not want around ie. Dillinger and etc.  They had a place to dance called the Crystal Ballroom that was
very well-known, it had a big crystal ball that reflected light all over the people and the walls..  They had one of the biggest roller coasters at the time,
it was made out of... ]]></description>

Also did you know there was an amusement park on the island at Lake Alma in Wellston. I don&#39;t know the dates it opened or closed but I have seen pictures.

I grew up on Buckeye and fished there my whole life, I lived right on the canal going through Millersport.  I know they are having pretty good luck at
Fairfield Beach catching them, when I was a kid no one ever heard of them in Buckeye but now is a different story.  A friend of mine caught his on little jigs
at the beach.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ Its a shallow lake. It has a muddy bottom so the water clarity isnt that great. i have only been fishing it for 2 yrs. for saugeyes. there are so many ways
people fish that lake i like using susspending jerkbaits thrown off rocky points or driftings worm harness&#39;s across the old tow paths..some people use
minnows and bobbers and some fish the minnows about a foot or 2 off the bottom...find the bait fish and you will find the fish...that how i did it last weekend ]]></description>
