For a shore angler, there's access to a good part of the shoreline. It's in a big metro park and there are trails around the lake. There are numerous fishing piers as well. There were a lot of shore anglers as well.

Rick, no we didn't. Does the river flow N to S, or S to N?

The weeds were dying when I was there last week too. Did you guys go up river under the bridge into the shallow backwater?

Yeah, Chris said that after they killed off the weeds, the fishing got tough. He said a 26 boat tourny there yesterday and it look took like 6lbs to win, so we know it wasn't us.

Thanks for the report!
At least you showed them what you had in the tacklebox.
Everything has got so much fishing pressure by now,
that the fish have to really be in the suicide mode to do any good.

You guys may not have caught much, but that's one heck of a report. Nice job Anthony. Looks like you guys gave it good whirl around the lake. It's a daunting lake, because everything looks good.

Don't have time for a full report, so here's a sumarised (hopefully) version.

Up at 4:30. Left the house a little after 5:00. Got to Kent Lake around 6:30, and met Chris from Nemesis Bait Co. We had to drive back to the office to get a permit for the day before we could launch out boat. Probably around 7:00 before we were on our way. We followed Chris to the first spot.

Wind was blowing hard making boat control hard, especially for me not being too good at the...
