Lake St. Clair Bass Fishing Report 04-27-15
This day was a lot like the previous days weather, but without the aid of the sun to warm some things up. We started down the mile roads and were the first ones to an area we've done well in the past. The water surface temperature was running 42 to 43 degrees. This day was unlike the previous day. We were able to land fish on baits dragging along the bottom, and the jerkbait bite was good. The crankbait bite wasn't as good.

We braved the north wind and were rewarded for our effort. We tallied out on 108 bass, with our 5 best going 27 lbs. 3 ounces. Jim had the two biggest ones at 6 lbs. 6 ounces, and 5 lbs. 11 ounces. I had two over 5 lbs. as well. There weren't too many odd catches this day. We did get one small muskie and a couple pike. Below are some photos from that day. Here’s one key note from the day. I saw a boat out there that I thought was Andy (Dukebass) from our board. It ended up not being him as we saw them again the next day. That will be revealed in the following day’s report.
