Sure is a beautiful gun, the engraving is gorgeous. I have my great grandfathers double, its an Ithaca with steel forged barrels. First model that ever came out hammerless. I have used it on rabbits and squirrels. Got a letter from Ithaca that says it was at the St. Louis Worlds Fair and was redeemed with Consolidated Chewing Tobacco Coupons in 1902. That model sold new for $12.00 cash. Its field grade and not as pretty as yours though. You aren't even consideriing hunting with that beauty are you? shame to drag it through the brush....Jim
