Jack, people mreally like the Fox guns. Even the lowest grade Sterlingworths have risen considerably in value in recent years. I would like to have a modest graded gun with a little bit of engraving but the price for those rises sharply.

Jim, I wonder if that Ithaca you are talking about is a Flues model. That preceded their NID (New Ithaca Design). Later they bought out the old Lefever Arms company and continued to make some of the last and lowest grade of Lefevers, the Nitro Special. I am going to hunt with that old London Gun. I can't afford them otherwise. Having said that, where I hunt it is wide open so other than falling in the mud there is little chance of damaging it in any way. Also, I am almost paranoid about keeping my guns clean, even when in the field. I have one and only one gun that I hunt with in the rain and if there is even a slight chance of it raining that is the only one I will take. When next hunting season rolls around expect to see that old sixteen in some of the pictures.
