Huge bluegills on Clear lake if you can find them and get them to bite. Marsh lake off of Lake James can be good for good sized gills. Little Otter I've been told has tons of good sized gills and some decent perch. Appleman can be hit or miss, but it has nice gills and redear. Crooked lake has a decent walleye population although I've never iced fished for them. Hamilton has monster crappie, but you have to find the right schools. I was there a little over a week ago, and we only caught 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 inch crappie. There's been crappie up to 18 inches caught there. Pigeon lake has decent gills and perch that I've caught during the summer (never ice fished it). Silver lake has good gills, and Hogback has nice gills, crappie and perch. I'm sure you've heard about Sylvan lake's good gills, but there getting hard to catch as of late.

Here's another link you might find of interest. It's lakes in the area with fish that have been caught from them.

I may be headed over that way next weekend. If I do, I'll drop you a note. Maybe you and your dad could meet some of us on the ice.
