Interesting, yet different than what I've seen with schoolers. What's different is the way the smaller ones run the inside, with the different sizes running out a little further. I have noticed on different bodies of water that the fish will school according to size. Which is very similar to what you saw on the reservoir.

That's very interesting, but I can honestly say I've never seen a bass in the water out there. The few that are in there are like Ninja's at night. However, I've caught a handful of little ones out of the smaller reservoir, and only a couple small ones out of the big reservoir. I've fished there enough to know that I haven't figured a darn thing out yet. Couple of the smaller bass I caught came off the only structure that is not visible from topside of the water. That is the old sunken water pump house in the N.W. corner of the reservoir. That usually holds a fair amount of fish.

We certainly appreciate you sharing your observation with us, as it may be very helpful to someone down the road. May I ask couple more questions? Could you explain the different feeding patterns you have observed with the filling and draining of the reservoir (Pumping of water)? How many bass would you guess you caught there in 2008?
