I got a new cell phone and used it for the first time today for some quick shots. Picture quality might not be that great but the color of the fish showed through pretty well. A perty fish.
It does look better than previous photos. I assume you have timer on your phone. How do you prop it?
Rick,

I cast from a seat with a back on it from the front deck. Never got along to well with just a butt seat. Anyway,, the phone is a flip phone so the top half rests against the back of the seat and the bottom half slides in the opening between the butt and back of the chair. I do need to stand closer to the camera though. I usually crop to bring fish in but I think I loose a good bit of quality when doing so. The camera in the phone is a 1.3 so it should do just fine for taking a quick shot after a catch. One of the main things seems to be lighting when taking a good image which can be a hard thing to get right on a breezy day standing in a bass boat holding a fish, and wanting to get back to fishing. As you can see I didn't do very good with the lighting part. The sun kept coming and going because of the clouds.
