Hey Jack, It was a pleasure to meet you.  Wish I had gotten a chance to talk with you more than we did.  I fished out of my boat, but surrendered the fishing locations to my partner who lives on that section of the river.  Guess he hasn't lived there long enough!!!!!  We only managed 2 keepers and 4 total fish.  I had mentioned to him early maybe we should look for backs of bays or channels that didn't have any water feeding into them for clearer water.  Even though, we started fishing main river just to the West of the launch.  I guess we did kinda figure out the pattern, in tight to shore but it was too late or the areas weren't quite right.  Guess most got their fish early.

Fishing the tournement reminded me why I haven't fished it in 8 to 10 years.  Too many river rats out there and I don't fish it for bass.  ( I do in the fall for steelies though.  :) )  But it was for Charity.  Reins of life, a program set up for disabled kids to ride horses for therapy, and Michiana Downes syndrum.  My partner and I had to keep remninding each other that it was for a good cause.  It was the only way we could survive the terrible display of fishing we put on.  lololol
