Adding to that, Chicago radio said today that as of December, Lake Michigan and Superior are at record level lows. The Army corp. of engineers will make a report within a week. Lack of winter ice creates an evaporation problem, not to mention the recent drought. On a side note, Every day of December in Chicago was at or slightly above 32 degrees. Making 2012 the warmest year (on average temp, 54*), ever recorded!!
