I have to apologize to you all about my method of identification of peregrines.
Chris is absolutely correct about the fan shaped wings of a hawk as opposed to the sharp edges of a peregrine.
I assumed that all of the birds visiting my feeder were peregrines because I watched a story on them on PBS from Scotland and noticed the way they had to adjust their dives because of their wide set eyes.  At least one of my birds had to keep adjusting its path when it came to the feeder and it definitley was a falcon.
I will keep my thoughts to myself from now on unless I'm truly sure of what I speak.
