I moved down the pond from north to south without a hint of a fish. Then in the extreme south end, where I never catch anything, a 14" took the Jitterbug.
A couple of casts later I nailed a 4-11. Two fish from the same spot!! Wow, they're actually telling me what I should be doing.
"Not so fast", as Lee Corso would say. I thoroughly covered the area with no more action and it would be the same hintless trip back north. I quit somewhat early, sick of fighting the wind without any rewards for doing so. Water was 72°.
