My good friend and I headed out to Baldwin after work. We arrive around 4:00 to find the water temp at 53 degrees and the wind blowing from the east around 10
mph. We started off with spinnerbaits with Jason hooking in to one that never made it to the boat. A little further down we saw 2 smallies cruising in 5 feet
of of water that wanted nothing to do with use. They look to be in the 2+ pound range. We move to another area on the lake were Jason landed the first keeper
fish of the day on a tube. A little further down, I landed the second keeper on a spinner bait. I landed two more non- keepers about 20 feet down. I ended
up with the 3rd and last keeper of the day on the same stretch. All three fish were in the 14 to 15 inch range. Jason had to get home by 7:00pm so we head
out. Ok day but I was hoping it would have been a better bite.
