Well I tried Austin this morning since its been so nice out. Started at 5:30am, fished till 8, water was around 48-50 degrees and wind was out of the south at
about 5-10 maybe. Started at the large weed patch in the SE corner of the lake by the outlet. Used a few different spinnerbaits, a clackin Rap, and an x-Rap.
No takers so at 7am I moved to the ditch near shore on the NE side of the lake. The wind gave me a good drift and I was able to land one that was 11.5 inches
on the clown colored x-rap. After that I saw a medium sized muskie that must have followed my weed covered x-rap to the boat. 7:30am I moved to the inlet on
the N side of the lake trying spinnerbaits. Lots of leaves in the water current and on the surface in the eddys. No more fish, just the little bass.
