Me and Dad decided to head to hamilton this morning to see if we could find a few fish. We arrived at the ramp and there was already a small tourney gathering there, but they only had about 5 boats so there was ample parking, which I was surprised. When we launched we were greeted by 60 degree water that looked like chocolate milk. Our first stop was a weedy flat where we started throwing spinerbaits and crankbaits. I had a pike follow my crank all the way to the boat and came all the way out of the water when I brought the bait out of the water. He almost hit the side of the boat airborne. Soon after dad set the hook on a hammer handle and we got this one in.

After not much more luck here, we moved 3 more times and did end up catching some bass. We only managed 2 keepers though. Water ran anywhere from 60-63 degrees and fish were caught on senkos and spinnerbaits. I imagine the water color wasn't going to get much better as the boat traffic was starting to roar when we left around 10:30.
