Well I took my daugher out fishing on my in-laws pontoon boat from about 2:45-4:30. The weather was beautiful with a decent wind. Boats were everywhere ofcourse. We started bluegill fishing around the weeds in the SE corner where I had seem some bedding gills a week ago. But there were close to a dozen boats parked out in that area near a shallow sandy flat enjoying the sun. We tried there for about 30 minutes without a bite so my daughter thought we should move. Went back across the lake to a little pocket that has some lilly pads in it. We started getting some bites. After about an hour we ended up with 3 sunfish, 5 bluegills and 1 small bass. My daughter wanted to keep everything so only a couple were probably worth keeping, but all came with us except the bass. The biggest fish was a sunfish and that ended up in our fishtank instead of going under the knife. She was having fun reeling them in after I set the hook and didn't want to go in. Mission accomplished = caught sunfish specifically, caught dinner, she had fun, and she'll want to go again.
